We were away for the week-end celebrating our wedding anniversary, and decided to visit the Museum of Modern Art at South Bank in Brisbane. Afterwards I was peckish, and we decided to visit the nearby State Library Cafe.
This test is for a slice of LMP eaten there.
Where: State Library Cafe (Brisbane)

A lovely tasting, smooth filling with good tartiness. Not too sweet, not too tart.
The meringue was a complete disappointment. A very small amount of meringue sat on top of the pie. What was there was burnt. It tasted very sweet, and was not light or fluffy.
The pastry was light, with just a little flake. It broke easily with a fork. A generally sweet taste without contributing to the overall sweetness of the pie.
Very poor presentation, largely due to the very thin layer of meringue. It looked like it had been dumped unceremoniously on the plate.
